About Allan's work:

Allan cooking style and philosophy:

I enjoy cooking pasta and meat, always enjoyed having a 'braai' and tried peefecting the meat. I started learning how to make pasta from scratch and also experimented with different sauces for the pasta, it has become a favorite! Pizza also got my attention and started making my own pizza dough as well as pizzas! I would say I enjoy fresh ingredients straight from a garden best way to experiment with flavors and also make use of natures gift!

How Allan handles criticisms:

I am always open to food critique and feedback as I feel like this is the way we learn and correct mistakes that you might have made and so we will grow better in what we do! Always use it as a stepping stone in improving yourself as well as your dishes!

What led Allan to become a chef / cook:

I am studying towards becoming a professional Chef at this moment, I have always been drawn to cooking and experimenting with different foods,flavors and techniques! Since a teenager I wanted to become a chef!

Why Allan feels they should be a part of this contest::

This would be an honor for me to be selected, I strive to be better than what I used to be and give it my all. I want to be the best Chef I can be and this competition would be a great start to my career! Thanks foe the opportunity

1. "The Master Cook Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies SA LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Master Cook Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master Cook Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Golden Luxe Plaque, Brand New Premium Pot Set and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master Cook Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://themealboss.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master Cook Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Master Cook Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
