How Tlou Gerald handles criticisms:
If I get a Critique of my dish from I guest,I politely visit the table greet them in a warm and welcoming manner to ensure customer satisfaction and try to ask couple of questions of what is it that they are not happy about regarding my dish and also ask what do they think I need to add or reduce in order to make a better dish next time around,As soon they break it down to me I write down notes and on my free time I try the ingredients suggested,and when we done with feedback and review I offer them complimentary dessert to show them I acknowledged their concerns and make them feel special.
What led Tlou Gerald to become a chef / cook:
My Name is Tlou Gerald Morwana. Originally from small village in Limpopo known as Mmotong Makgofe.
I started working as a Commis Chef at a Fine dine restaurant from 2023 fresh from the College in space of 7 Months I got promoted to a Chef DE Partie for time period of 7 I applied for Job at a hotel I got the job until now as a Sous Chef.

From college I've obtained my Hospitality L2 to L4 Qualification then I decided to go further with my studies and I Enrolled in Hospitality Management.

What led me to become a chef is being driven by deep passion I have for food and always ready for a challenge as learning new dishes,That's amount of creativity in the kitchen and the desire to share delicious meals with others.
Why Tlou Gerald feels they should be a part of this contest::
As a chef driven by deep passion and creativity being a participant of the competition would help me to get out of comfort zone and Network with other participants as that would me to share ideas and Experiences and will also draw a very strong inspiration.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.
3. Registration to Participate in "The Master Cook Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.
4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master Cook Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Golden Luxe Plaque, Brand New Premium Pot Set and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master Cook Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.
6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.
7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.
8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://themealboss.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.
9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master Cook Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.
